SEATTLE, WA (AP) - Out of all the playoff matchups this weeked, this was the one most fans looked forward to. These two NFC West rivals split their season series with each other; Arizona winning at home, 24-16, and Seattle winning at home, 31-14. Plus, these two teams have been jawing at each other all week prior to this game. After a slow first quarter highlighted by a fake punt executed perfectly, the Cardinals turned it on in the second quarter and ran away from Seattle, 31-10, to clinch a spot in the NFC Championship.

The running game looked good early as Emmitt Smith carried the ball six straight plays for 36 yards before the Cardinals were put in a fourth and inches situation. Erik Bickerstaff took the direct snap from the punting formation and burst through a hole for 20 yards and a first down. However, the drive stalled there as Neil Rackers missed a field goal from 35 yards out.

An eight play drive was capped off by a Drew Henson 27 yard pass to Bryant Johnson for a second quarter touchdown. Johnson, who has battled injuries all season, had a great game with six catches for 160 yards and three touchdowns. A Seattle three-and-out was followed up by another touchdown drive. Smith carried the ball for 13 yards on the first play, then Henson found Anquan Boldin for 25 yards. Smith then was stopped for no gain, but then Henson found number 81 to get inside the one yard line. From there, Bickerstaff took a handoff and punched it in to give Arizona a 17-0 lead.

The Cardinals scored again late in the first half as Henson found Johnson for 64 yards and a score. Matt Hasselbeck rallied the troops for a bit in the second half as he and Shaun Alexander got the ball down to the Arizona seven yard line. From there, Matt found Koren Robinson for a touchdown, but the next drive Henson found Johnson again for a 60 yard trip to paydirt.

The Cardinals will play the Green Bay/Philadelphia winner in the NFC Championship.

Championship Weekend Playoff Matchups/Predictions

Indianapolis Colts (12-5) at Kansas City Chiefs (13-4)

A great matchup here between two stellar offenses. Peyton Manning leads the Colts offense with Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, and Edgerrin James all his sidekicks. The NFL's Offensive Player of the Year will have to have a big game to keep Indy in it. The league's most powerful offense resides in Kansas City. Trent Green, Priest Holmes, Eddie Kennison, Dante Hall, Derrius Thompson and Tony Gonzalez are all skill position players that either made the Pro Bowl or have the potential to. Expect a high scoring game between two high-octane offenses. Chiefs, 37-30.

NFC

Wait, we said Kansas City has the best offense? Well Arizona would like to say something about that as well. Drew Henson has had a star-studded rookie year, Emmitt Smith is playing like he's 25 again, and the receiver group, despite missing Larry Fitzgerald, has received a boost with the surprising play of Bryant Johnson. Anquan Boldin, Johnson, and Freddie Jones can all go the distance at any time. Green Bay is led by the legend Brett Favre and his main threats Ahman Green and Donald Driver. Both defenses are filled with studs, so this looks like it'll be a good game. The Cardinals are on a roll right now and I don't see anyone stopping them. Cardinals, 17-14.
