Giving the offense a mild boost, was Placido Polanco who went 2 for 3 on the day and scored the only Tigers run.

Edwin Jackson (7-1 , 3.22 ERA) toes the rubber for the Tigers against the Royals and Gil Meche (6-6 , 2.94 ERA) tomorrow night, in the first game of a 6 game homestand for the Tigers.

      Series Review:

Feels like it's been a while since I've lost a series. Run production wasn't where it should've been to win consistently.

He's always good. Fucking bats always disappear when he's on the mound.

                      haha.

Jarrod Washburn is 2-10 with a 5.73 ERA in my chise.

And there is no Luke French or the other guy in my chise either for some reason. I guess I'll give Seattle two of my top pitching prospects out of AAA-Toledo sometime in the near future.

"ROIDals" Unleash Barrage On Tigers Pitching

                                (50-33) vs (37-45)

Dontrelle Willis got into a lot of deep counts early on which led to signs of fatigue.

The Tigers lost an AL Central contest as Dontrelle Willis and the rest of the Tigers pitching got roughed up. Kansas City won by the final of 11-7. Magglio Ordonez provided the offense in the losing effort, collecting 3 hits, including a home run and 3 RBI. Reliever Zach Miner took the loss after coming into a 6-6 tie game, getting lit up for 4 runs and 1 and two thirds innings in relief of starter Dontrelle Willis.

Jeremy Bonderman (6-5 , 2.56 ERA) of the TIgers will oppose Kyle Davies (3-6 , 5.94 ERA) and the Royals in the finale of the series at Comerica Park.
