When I saw them I had no idea who they were. They could have at least introduced them and say how she knew them.

Yeah seriously CJ is a chameleon with the wallpaper about now, although it did look like next episode they'd have him on more since they showed him trying out punting for an NFL scout. Same with Emilee, she's never really the "focal-point" of a story she's always just sort of a supporting actor that you see in every other scene that just chimes in with quick advice/sentence then disappears.
If it wasn't for the batshitness of Aaiya and Jasmine they'd probably have nothing to show without the other guys. Which could be a big reason why the DJ got such a big role in the show because they needed to fill some time with somebody hah.Comment

Not that this season's on-par with the show they had in London (from what I heard; I think I was still watching cartoons and eating Sugar Smacks then...), but damned if there's nothing noteworthy in this season.
If I were MTV, I'd look into waiving that "no-hit" clause they have so there'd be more to show on these episodes OR they could just have more shows like Real World/Road Rules Challenge.Comment

Maybe the problem is it's friggin CANCUN! Like...it's a place right next to the beach, where you chill, spring break, relax, lay out on the beach..and their job is also related to it.
Meanwhile all other places in general are cities, where you can't just spend all day lying around on the beach and have to find other ways to do shit, and with jobs unrelated. Like other jobs they went and did their jobs, then didn't have to worry about what they did/how they acted when they weren't on the job. Unlike this studentcity place where how they act outside of work can detrimentally affect them (bronne).Comment

Problem with this season is
They gave them a job with some snobby ass company. "OMG we're STUDENTCITY, we don't want you guys to drink off / behave badly the job because you guys it might negatively affect our company's image!" Yeah you guys are a company that offers the "ultimate spring break vacation," I guess they must've forgot that spring break is all about acting wild and out of control. They were responsible for Joey getting sent home.
They relied too much on formulaic bullshit. Oh my god two girls kissing, everyone will love that! Lesbians! Oh my god a threesome, we hit the jackpot!! Then they played these things up like the were the most amazing important things ever, even though they didn't even show anything. This show steals story lines from those flavor of love shows.
The cast a bunch of useless characters who aren't interesting / aren't dealing with any issues. You don't need Derek to play the stereotypical gay when you already have Aiiya who's struggling with her lesbianism. They got rid of Bronne / Joey. They just cast CJ and Emilee cause they're supposed to look good, but both of them might as well be mannequins. All four of the guys vanished in one way or another. Which left us with Jazmin, Jonne, and a pair of faggot canadian cousins. Show might as well be named gossip girls.Last edited by Bear Pand; 08-29-2009, 02:50 PM.Comment

New Real World/Road Rules challenge starting Sept. 30, I believe I saw. From the previews, it looks pretty damn good.
But this season of RW is starting to get boring without Joey and Bronne being there. Also, like it has already been said, CJ really doesnt even seem like hes on the show anymore.RIP HK, JJ
