Ok...I see Budden is gettin a lot of love in this thread. The only thing I've heard from him since he came out was the stuff on all the Slaughterhouse mix cds so what else to I need to listen to? I will say that he went hard on that 15 minute long What Happened to HipHop track though!

I know when Budden came out...Pump It Up didn't impress me to the point where I kept up with dude. I read all about the Mood Muziks mixtapes but I still wasn't checkin for him. I guess cuz I was on my Little Brother kick but still passed on all the Budden mixtapes.

Mood 2 and 3 are better than the Ortiz's Cover the classics.....in my view... i am still listening to All of me from Budden (which is on MM3)

Music is all about preference. That's the beauty of music.
You can argue all you want about who is the "best" but it really just depends on whose style you enjoy most, especially when talking about rappers of this caliber.

If we're talking overall just in general.. its easily Buddens..
But Crooked I has elevated himself so much since joining that group that hes impressed me the most. I already knew how sick Buddens, Royce and Joell were.. Crooked opened up a ton of eyes.

Most talented in the group is Budden.
On the CD? I might be inclined to say Ortiz. He was actually my least favorite coming into this CD, but he tears up shit beyond belief in a few songs.Comment

This is my feeling, too.
If I'm listening to their solo stuff, I'm listening to Budden all day, with some Royce thrown in.
But on the album, Joell definitely picks it up a new level, and IMO, outshines the other three. And that's a tough thing to do, because all of them are damn good.Comment
