Because not everyone knows the show is based almost exactly off a series of books. Knowing this might spoil it for someone if they run across the books, or simply can't withhold the urge to look them up (you know, like when someone says don't look, and you look anyway!) So if you have read the books, or have researched them, then you know what goes on and are just seeing how HBO is portraying it visually.

I actually thought last episodes was really good. I wish they would focus more on the political aspect of vampires. Every time they have in the past, its been pretty interesting.

 

It was pointless to bring back Franklyn and then kill him 5 seconds later unless they plan to have Tara falling for Jason again for saving her life. If they do go that route, it will fucking suck.

It is an alternate universe where shapeshifters, vampires, telepaths and all sorts of other supernatural beings coexist with humans. The Vampires have gone "mainstream" and revealed their presence to society. They now must follow laws and drink synthetic blood.

So basically the Vampires are the minorities in this alternate reality, and their willingness to assimilate with society varies from vamp to vamp. Some are evil bastards who hate humans and continue to eat them and wish to overthrow them, and some are just pussified vampires like Bill who live among and date humans.

Oh, and and there's a lot of tittays and gay sex.

Eric's storyline is easily the best. Bill and Sookie's storyline seems interesting because everyone else's sucks. Tara? Boring. Jason? Pretty boring. Sam? Less boring than normal.

Real obvious to know what she is when you know the entire show is based on the "The Southern Vampire Mysteries" series of books.

You don't need to know what she is in the Southern Vamp Mystery series (I'm a dude, I don't read that shit anyway) to know she is a fairy...I mean, they basically showed you what she is when she was in a coma...

What is more important than what she is, is, why she is important to Bill, so much so, he has been tracking her family lineage - one is to assume shit is important, particularly her grandfather, who Sook said could also read minds. Maybe she ends up being related to that Barry guy from last season in Dallas??

Why she or her ability is important to the Vampire community (considering Sook's cousin is chilling with the Queen, I assume she too is a fairy of some kind). Also, after Bill had Sookie's blood, he did not burn up in the sun. Can her "light" turn a vampire human/mortal again?

Also, what role will Claundine have in the future?

isnt that what this is turning into though? one big what is.....the 1st season u knew what everyone was and they had real stories surround them. the 2nd season got into the mary ann BS and kind of got away from any good story lines. 3rd season is even more of that

the only real constant and good story line has been with shit surrounding Eric. Most of the stuff with bill/sookie has been good. But the rest is just filler. Its turning into the sopranos where season 3 and 4 were pretty much trash
