1st season, I was pretty excited for the season finale. 2nd season, I was pumped for it because the storylines were so developed. This season, I'm excited, but they really should have spent time on 2-3 storylines and really went into detail (ie. Really focus on Russell going crazy after the murder of Talbot, focus on how crazy Sam's family is and have them do something really nasty to Sam, and they needed to develop Jason's story as it seems way too contrived). Instead of some big payoff finale, it more seems like it will just put this ugh season to rest and we can finally move past it.Comment

Took me three-quarters of the first season to really get into it.
It isn't a show you pick up and love after one or two shows for everyone.
You need to give it time and see the show develop.
Kind of like Hung. You can't watch one or two eps and like it...you need to get attached to the characters.Comment

After watching Breaking Bad and then coming back to watch the Finale....jesus Tara IS AWFUL. I left the room during part of the finale when she came on. WTF is that?Comment

This show took an hour of my life away. I went over to a girls house to watch it and was soo disgusted that i left afterwards (bitch was ugly anyways)

This show hasn't really been good since the first season....and I didn't think it was possible but Tara looked even worse with that new hair, I was REALLY hoping she was just going to off herself.
EDIT: My biggest problem was why did Godric just burn up and turn into dust instantly but Russell just turned all black and charcoalish? They weren't that far apart age-wise

Maybe it had something to do with Godric being in the sun at sunrise, compared to Eric/Russell being in the sun in mid-afternoon.

Kinda lame finale i gueess
no idea whats gonna happen with Jason, Sams story up in the air, same as Tara, although i do like her more with short hair, shes still lame.
One thing i hate about the show that they might not touch on, is if Sookie is a fairy, then so is Jason, but i think they solved him not being hunted, seeing as how most of his storylines are in the morning, but if Sookie cant be glamoured, either can Jason i'm guessing, or maybe its part of her telepathy stuff, and her hand power maybe.
Kinda laughed at LaFayette? yelling at one dude bc hes a male witch, also, you can tell when Rene put his hands on Arlene, she kinda was uneasy, probably just a actor mistake since the character isnt supposed to feel it i think
i did read a bit ahead about the series, novel, but i think Eric is hiding something, just covering it up by revealing everything about Sookie
funny how HBO had 2 failed interventions tonight, 1 with Entourage, the other with True Blood, but i do think Hoyt's mom buying a gun was too much, you know Tara hates Bill, but you dont see her getting a gun to defend her best friend. unless maybe the gun is for Hoyt

Not a great finale.
The whole Russell/Eric/Sookie/Bill/Queen storyline - I can't really complain, however, Sookie going to fairyland at the end is a bit of a boring ending. The Bill-Queen fight scene ending was Wolfman bad. LOL.
Sam storyline - It actually ended well...Sam has an edge, but the storyline seems long, drawn out, and overall, boring. At least it gives Sam a character moreover being a bum.
Lafayette and the introduction of witches - Started off lame, got better as time went on. Lafayette learning to become a witch should be interesting. Him being able to see everyone's secrets is going to be interesting. Makes sense seeing Jesus as a demon witch, Arlene's husband, and Sam's bloody hands (good foreshadowing).
Tara - Good, get her the fuck out of here.
Jason - So, now he is the leader of the were-panthers. Terrible. A whole lot of junky storyline for that.
Andy on V - would be glorious for comedy.
Hoyt/Jessica v. Mom/Summer - actually a decent storyline.Comment

agreed.
a bad season followed up by a bad finale. the best storyline had the worst outcome. everything surround bill, snookie, eric and russell had a terrible outcome.
the cliff hangers are really gay because they are cliffhangers that dont matter.
think about them and tell if you really are compelled by any of them
