It's hard to state a favorite but definetely a big one during the 2000's is Kanyes 2nd verse on Diamonds are forever. Ah, I just thought about his verse on "Never Let Me Down". Andre 3000's on "Internatinal Players Anthem" was real good but didn't really have any deep meaning to it.

These popped into my mind because I've been listening to them lately and it seems like rap now-a-days is more centered on verses because of the punchlines. Even thought it's my favorite CD, I know Illmatic doesn't have any of my favorite verses just because of the way it was made. No punchlines and he wasn't concerned as much about a hook, just let the song flow. That's why most on my list are from newer songs.
