Wow am I the only one that really enjoyed this episode?

I have been very critical of this show to this point, but that episode was pretty damn good. I really didn't see the ending coming so it was a big pay off for me.

Last episode was solid, but this series (save for the first episode) has been a bit of a disappointment.
All these series trying to be the next Lost.
Last episode has kept me on board, but they're gonna need to stay at that quality. This series reminds me of Fringe - kept me on board for about 2/3 of season one, then I quit it.

V is doing the same thing, but I want to father Laura Vandervoort's children, so I will stick to that one.

this show irritates the hell out of me but i keep watching only because i've seen all the eps up until now.

That whole poker part was ridiculous. First of all you're almost never going to see a straight flush beat four of a kind. That hand has to be like a once in a lifetime kind of thing.

Also after the guy won with the straight flush the game shouldn't have been over since even after winning that hand he still would've been far behind overall. Oh and good luck ever hiding a card in your sleeve in a casino effectively. That whole scene didn't really add anything and was written by someone who has no idea how poker works.

I hate how every time no limit holdem is in a TV show they create these unrealistic situations and don't even get the basic rules right.

They should've just flipped a coin and saved everyone about 10 minutes. But instead they piddle paddle around every episode focusing on things that don't really matter.

Eh, I think it was obvious Charlie got a little too cocky and wagered his entire stack on that one hand. I know casinos wouldn't let you do this but I got the "Basement Poker Game" vibe from that scene.

I do agree that the entire scene was retarded because at the end the guy that was cheating said he wouldn't leave the decision to go public up to chance. So why the fuck bother indulging the guy in a poker game. We went in a big fucking circle.

By far the weakest episode.

Also I don't get why people are so hesitant to follow their gut instinct in this show. If you believe in the flashforwards wouldn't that just make life easier. Really whatever decision you make you have already made once... So why get so upset.

And has it ever crossed the mind of anyone else that Joseph Fines is drinking in the flashforward for a reason other then self gratification. I mean he knows the flashforward is coming so there has to be a very good explanation of why he's drinking, other then he's upset about his wife's relationship.

Tonights episode was the best one of the season. I cant believe they never mentinoed this is the last one before a big break. God Dammit.

 

I really think based on this last episode, some people saw the future of themselves 6 months from now, while others saw an alternative timeline of themselves that has already happened.
