Ok, so Shyne took the fall for Puff. Puff is forever indebted to Shyne. In fact, he probably paid Shyne and his family handsomely to take the fall in the case and probably offered him the world once released from prison.

What if Puff clued the feds / NY gov't onto Shyne's citizenship to get him out of the US for good, thus relieving Puff of any future compensation and favors?
