all the reviews and all these people I talk to say the movie is gonna scare you shitless. "i've never been scared in a movie but this one will scare you, trust me" blah blah

i'm buying into the hype + the girl wants to see it so hopefully it's at least halfway dece/frightening

Make sure you LOOK FOR ANYTHING when shit starts getting eerie. I thought shit was going to jump out, but the cool shit to watch is for the tiniest details. So basically just keep your eyes wide open even though you feel like shits about to get creepy. Keep looking around and you'll see the wildest shit.

That should make the movie better for you. After I started looking for shit I actually did kind of like it more, but the ending imo was terrible.

A random theory/idea I had.

 

In the Ouija Board scene when they leave the house, before it starts moving you see wind blowing things around, but at no other point when the Demon showed up was there wind. So, I think it was Diana attempting to let them know about the Demon, who caught the board on fire in an attempt to hide it from them.
