That should make the movie better for you. After I started looking for shit I actually did kind of like it more, but the ending imo was terrible.

what the fuck was up with the very ending? there were no credits it just went to black. I peaced out right there. lol

 

The film was suppose to be found footage. Remember at the beginning when it says thank you to the families of the two people and the SD Police? What we're watching is what the dude videotaped, the evidence.

It's a ploy to add more realism.

A random theory/idea I had.

 

In the Ouija Board scene when they leave the house, before it starts moving you see wind blowing things around, but at no other point when the Demon showed up was there wind. So, I think it was Diana attempting to let them know about the Demon, who caught the board on fire in an attempt to hide it from them.

 

There was wind throughout the film I thought, when the lights in the living room would rock back and forth. What I found weird was the guy never knew about the fire it seemed. But he went through the video to look at the ouija board, wouldn't he have seen the fire?

I think when the chandelier was moving it was because the demon had shook it when he made the loud pounding like noise. In the scene when the door first moves, Micah points out to his wife that the flowers weren't moving from wind when the door moved.
