That was the best horror movie Ive seen in years. Top 5 ever.

Id love to know what these massive holes in logic you guys are seeing. Like Blair Witch Project either put yourself in there shoes or understand there point of view.

If you think this sucked Please name me a better horror movie made the last 10 years.

First not a spoiler but advice...learn the difference between a ghost and demon before watching. Dont expect stupid crazy CGI. Its a simple movie.

 

The BF was a hard headed dufus. He saw the flames he mentioned it in the movie. The picture of him was not only cracked but somehow scratched through the glass.
They talked about it to friends there best solution was "come over to my house"...the spirit dude was informative but when the shit hit the fan couldnt do much and was willing to get help.
What are the cops gonna do ? laugh and think its a hoax.
Upload to who ? What are a bunch of youtube hits gonna do ?
BF was an idiot but he knew that backstory realized what was going on there wasnt much anyone could do. ((actually there was one thing....which never occured to them which is the only real glaring hole but noones mentioning that))

The Oujia board was something he was told not to do. He did it. It empowered the demon and everything escalated after wards.
Maybe theres something to that other chick..because I was convinced that was her face chick changed to in final scene.



As for the credits...GENIUS !!!!
No credits and theaters have been told to keep the lights off.

As for hype ?

How can a movie made on 11k , with no major distribution yet , whos popularity was completely based on word of mouth be over hyped ?

Movie and the resulting popularity are pretty genius.

I was a little little kid going with my older sisters...I had no idea what 3d was...All I remember was putting on the glasses and seeing a fuckin shark coming straight at me screaming and diving off my seat..Legend had it I stood under the seat for the first 5 minutes before watching the rest of the movie in 2d with my sisters hand over my eyes.

Anywho, the difference between this and some other movies is stuff like Blair Witch Project and Cloverfield I wanted to see on my own like any other movie. With this movie I just want to see cause everyone's hyping it up, it looks stupid to me.

Im making my own definitions I guess.

Hype is usually ads and company based pushing of the song/movie/show etc. Plastering any joe schmoes "greatest movie of the year" slogan and pre dubbing it greatness.

Usually word of mouth isnt hype. Its just that word of mouth and great buzz. Every ounce of popularity has been based on people going and loving it. Thats not overhype and it certainly wasnt manufactured.

If you dont find any movie scary then honestly get your adrenaline glands checked. Nothing different about scary movies the comedys , action , romance etc...If you cant find a single horror movie that produces any sense of fear , creepiness , or makes you jump, or think twice about that dark corner in your house n, or builds any tension etc. then the problem is you not the movie.
