I have to agree with Dave a little on all the recent Dexter hate. I have loved the show since I began watching from season one till now. Has it become silly at times, convenient and a little predictable? Sure, but sometimes a writing team only has so many viable options to go to without creating a road block.

Second, I am shocked that Dex turned in HM. Just like Larry said, it makes no sense for Dex to turn her in...especially with the info she has. Dex dropped the ball on this one.

Finally, FUCK LaGuerta. I am so sick of this bitch. She is the one character that I have never liked throughout the run of the show. I know next season is definitely the last and they are likely setting up the story for the show to end, but, I just hate to see it and LaGuerta possibly arresting Dexter just makes it that much worse.

Yea I thought that Deb poisoned herself as well. I mean Deb did say she would never stop until Hannah was behind bars and away from her brother. I also didn't like how he just handed her the evidence. I mean I know its supposed to make it a more interesting of a pickle but Dexter knew that Hannah knew about his murders and his sister knowing he is a murderer.

I agree this season hasn't been perfect, but I swear some of you guys are just jumping on this "Dexter is awful" bandwagon because other VSNers say it is.

Nah, it just happens to be awful now. It happens to the best of them, though.

Anyway i don't think the show has gotten terrible, it's just not as good as it's peak trinity season, which honestly, it was never gonna live up to that seasons standards again. I just hope they find a good way to wrap the series up next season.

I'm the King of the Dexter-haters, here are my thoughts -

Killing Issak, the best character since Lithgow, and making his storyline meaningless was absolutely atrocious. They even botched his death.

LaGuerta shoulda been killed in the pilot, this absolutely disgusts me that this is where the story has ended up.

At least next episode is titled "Surprise, Mothafucka"

Hannah McKay is hot. I hated her at first, but now I want her to kill Deb. I, too thought it was pretty obvious that Deb drugged herself..

Angel retiring means he's gunna die.

Quinn is useless kill him or ship him off to Vegas.

While I hate LaGuerta, and where they are taking this storyline, to be fair - she didn't get on this hunch until she found the blood slide at the scene of Travis Marshall's killing.

I definitely want to see what prompts his arrest. So far, with everything LaGuerta has...it's just not enough. It wouldn't stick in court. Her hunch is not proof, all she has is a blood slide and a list of Miami metro personnel with boats. That's pretty much it. So the next episode should reveal some more evidence against him (i.e. Hannah McKay speaks out, etc.).
