The narrator is way to involved in this show right now, I don't know if it was like this the whole run and I'm not going to re-watch to find out. The show needs to give the audience a bit more credit.

They should've started the show off where Doakes wasnt suspicious about Dexter and then let that suspicious grow on the show. Maybe let Doakes live for 2 more seasons. He was THE best supporting character this show had and he died 2 seasons in. Tragic mistake.

Man it is fucking obvious that Quinn killed the neighbor girl. How the hell has no one on that police force thought of that? Fucking useless.

I feel as though the writers tried to replicate the season 1 reveal with the brain surgeon reveal this week. Except it failed because no one really cared about this guy, and he lacked the semi creepy moments that the ice truck killer had prior to being revealed.
