i am stupendously excited. things to keep in mind from the books: his sister finds out about the killing and supports it, and he teaches the children how to kill. then again, the 3rd book also focuses on his dark passenger being the spirit of a demon called moloch who posesses him, which i dont think the television show will do. also i dont think they have killed rita off in the books either.

regardless, it should be a fantastic season, Rita needed to die because she was really just a pain in the ass holding him back from his true nature, it was fcking annoying in season 4 how you could practically predict him being foiled by her calling him and needing something anytime there wasnt any other foil available.

3 i liked the least (too much redundancy in Dex's growth), but 4 was a fucking work of art. Lithgow was extraordinary.
