former dexter star..... under a pic of Rita (idk her real name)....from TMZ

the posted spoiler where i DL S4 from said that she dies at the end of season 4. Even if she didnt die I know she is off the show somehow since TMZ posted former star....unless that was a mistake
Champ posted that same shit in the chat box right before s4 started airing its weekly episodes last year. I didnt want to believe it, but i was pissed that it was even in the back of my mind as i watched the whole season.

yeahs thats a douchebag move all the way. Its been in my mind while watching season 4. They really are not leading you on just yet. . Like F16 mentioned, she is in another show now so I didnt really think about that in regards to this show. but if you are following along while the season is going....man i would be pissed.

But i did get one unsuspecting surprise in S4 already....so thats good.

the season is just as great as the other 3. But nothing about S4 really stands out to make it the greatest season.
(not really a spoiler but just in case someone hasnt seen every season)

S4 is kind of like S1 cause its Dex up against a serial killer foe. Thats kind of why i liked S3 so much because smits wasnt a serial killer

but it closes the chance of these/this people/person finding his true identity and how they would react to it.

They are/the person is still alive in the books at this point.

IMO, S2 is still the Boss. I'd put S1 and S4 equal. S3 was acceptable and "good" compared to everything else on TV, but when compared to the other seasons within the series, it is by far the least pleasing of the 4.

It will be interesting to see how Dex (Michael C Hall) looks in S5. I refuse to watch the S5 preview, want it all to be new. Does his physical appearance look different? He wasn't that far removed from his cancer treatment when they started filming.

My mom just got the DVD's and for some reason she doesn't think that....

Trinity killed Rita. She was telling me that He didn't know where Dexter lived, so it couldn't have been him. I tried to tell her how it was obvious that he did it, but she wouldn't listen

that's a good point on the reaction aspect (still love that part in season 2 where dex goes over the possible reactions his sister would have to him being the bay harbor butcher) but i was glad she was gone as she seemed to hold him back and every episode seemed to be him getting ready to kill only to have to go pick up some shit or run some errand for rita, it just got annoying and she started to grate on me. i liked her the first couple seasons, but the last 2, meh, i felt she was disposable.

and thats exactly how i felt about season 3, its top notch tv no doubt when you look at the series as a whole it really fell flat.

your mother is wrong. I read an interview from the person involved with the storyline on the bad side of the story. They said it is not a dream, it is final, it is exactly what it was suppose to be, don't over think it. The person found out at the last second because the final couple episodes were held very secret until the end. The person involved has been released from their contract.

I'm trying to keep it vague so as to not spoil it...or use constant spoiler tags! But here is more evidence.

http://news.softpedia.com/news/Julie...e-130202.shtml That's not the exact interview I read, but it says similar stuff right from her.

Word for a while is Rita (Julie Benz) will be back for a bit in Season 5 material, but is not fully back, will not be a ghost like Harry, nor will the finale have been a dream sequence

She doesn't question that Rita is dead for good. She is questioning who killed her. The other reason why she doesn't think it was Trinity is because of how the baby was put in the pool of blood, just like Dexter was found as a kid. I didn't feel like trying to convince her that she is wrong because its so obvious.

Part of me want to agree with her. Trinity's kills were all very clean kills. No blood spatter or anything. Yet this one time when he kills Rita there is blood everywhere? I don't know if it was intentional or if it was someone else completely. But it keeps you wondering.

“There has been no talk of me coming back to the series in any way. A lot of people have been begging me to tell them that I’m going to come back, and I’m like, ‘Rita’s dead!’ Rita is dead and Trinity killed her. There’s all these theories that Dexter did it, or Deb snuck in and did it, but I don’t think it could get any more obvious that Trinity killed Rita. Rita is dead. And there has been no talk of Rita being a ghost. No one’s approached me about coming back,” Benz explains.

thats an interesting thought and your mom might be right. but if not the obvious, then who? i mean there isnt any other possible option that could make sense....unless they write some more off the wall shit to make that one up.

i say off the wall cause season 4 imo was the worst season. It was great, yes. But i just felt like there were to many far fetched things going on. Its almost like the MPD were the keystone cops and didnt have a clue to anything while super cop dexter was doing all sorts of crazy shit

2 things really bugged me in the final 2 shows.

first was the trucker he made seem like the killer. It just seemed a little to unreal for him to make him the trinity killer. The whole thing surround it and the trucker getting killed was unbelievable to me.

2nd was when he had trinity in the van at the bank. why didnt he just leave his car and drive off in the van and kill him? seemed like the logical thing to do. Then when he chose to speak to the sherrifs he totally lost it while trinity was out. that just came across as fake to me.

there were more things going on in this season that also made me feel like it was unrealistic.
