The autotune thing was a huge problem though, combined with the rockstar guitar nonsense. It got to the point where he was just a rockem sockem robot sounding rapper that ran on codeine.

Wayne actually trying + quality beats = good music. That Swag Surfin beat was incredible and the only reason the original song blew up. A full mixtape of him rapping over beats like that is gonna be amazing.
