Not a fan of CCR...they are ok, but I can't really take John Fogarty's voice for longer than 5 minutes. I do like Susie Q and Born on the Bayou.

Gin Blossoms had some nice melodies, but a lot of their songs sound alike.

Neutral Milk Hotel never making it mainstream puts them up there. Other than that, I know a lot of bands who are currently underrated by the general public, but they get their due.

Blind Melon, had one big hit but they had some fantastic songs that a lot of people have never heard of. There singer died in the 90s from drugs but the 3 albums they had with him were great.

im with you, i dont see how CCR doesnt get more play for being one of the alltime great bands. I can listen to some of Fogerty's solo stuff but its not as good as the CCR stuff for the most part.

both of these are far from underrated as they are both in the r'n'r hall of fame and have sold MILLIONS of albums. (i mean shit rumors is the 10th best selling album of all time)
