How many of you guys listen to DJs? And I'm talking about real scratch artist? This is originally how I really starting appreciating hip hop, and the culture. I watched the videos on MTV and that's how I started listening to hip-hop/rap. It wasn't until I watched the 1999 Scratch Championships in NYC, that I started to appreciate the culture.
