-- And in defense of Linkn Park, there one of my top5 is because they are a one of a kind band, ive never seeen a band that incorporates all the different elements they do, from the synths, to the little pinch of techno they throw in there- to mike shinoda rapping over the track, even chester himself has a VERY powerful voice , another plus in my book is the mash-up they did with JayZ, A WHOLE album with JayZ ---

I was the biggest Linkin Park fan back in the day and I still lol'd at what Hedgi said

Anyways, I agree with AC/DC, Nirvana (even though Nevermind is a solid album IMO) and Nickleback. I think Pearl Jam, RHCP and sublime are overrated too, I don't think they suck I just don't see whats so special about any of them.

I dont think nirvana is overrated, I think they deserve the amount of hype they recieve.

I think way too many people in this thread are associating "not liking" a band and a band being "overrated".

A few bands I find overrated are Nickelback [Above all], Greenday, Bruce Springsteen, KISS, and Jimmy Buffett.

A few of those have massive followings, with music that doesn't warrant such a large one.
