Had a HUGE discussion with someone at work about LOST today. Really pumped me up. They are watching all the seasons right now and it's fun to remember what it was like watching through the seasons.

Damon and Carlton confirmed at a LOST panel this morning that two characters will be back for at least part of season 6. Previously, they were thought to not be part of the final season.

A few other tidbits from them...

-When asked if someone can start watching LOST for the first time with season six and not be lost, they said yes.

-When asked if we have already seen the end due to flash forwards/flashbacks, they said NO!

-No season 6 scenes will be released until shortly before the premiere.

Alright ever since Season 1 of lost everyone though the whole premise behind the show was about Religion. Immediately the writers came out and said that the show was SCI FI and had nothing to do with Religion. Do you guys believe that they said that just because everyone caught onto the show too soon or what?

Doubt the island/purgatory theory is true...didn't the writers shoot that down during the course of the show?

Fate/free will is a big part to the show. I'm not sure that specific religions will play much of a role when it's all said an done.

I think religion or the philosophical idea of a religion plays a part of the show.

The whole idea of Jack butting heads with locke sort or reason versus faith/blind belief.

Also the whole, why do you find it so hard to believe versus why do you find it so easy
