Sometimes a new band just works. This one does. I heard the song "Abduction" on Muchmusic and thought "Damn, that's pretty good."
Think a bit Jesus and Mary Chain, a bit Cocteau Twins, female lead and a band with sensible pop hooks.
I bought this for $7.99 off iTunes. It was released tonight.
Thought about downloading a torrent, but it's their first album so I thought I'd give them the cash.
The album is only 33 mins 40 seconds. Suffice to say, it's a quick listen.
Edit: I fucking love this album. Heels and Brnt4Life - highly recommended. RelaxedAnderson will just call it the latest hype, so I won't recommend it to him.
