Wes makes tons of $$$ whenever they remake his classics. Good or bad.

Definitely looking forward to this remake. I own the box set and love to throw one in every now and then - I'm partial to parts 3 (Dream Warriors) and 4 (Dream Master) though.

        Freddy's Revenge?

Terrible film...and most old school MM'rs know what kind of Freddy mark I am...but, Nightmare 2 is turrible.

Big Freddy fan here too. Absolutely my fav movie franchise! I have to agree 2 (Freddy's Revenge) and 6 (Freddy's Dead) were my least favorite.

yeah the movie doesn't even really count, i mean it had nothing to do with dreams, when you watch them all in a row you can see how it just doesn't fit

i remmebr there was a elm street tvs eries and in one episode they talked about his past. they said ont he series he was a ice cream truck man and thats how he lured kids to kill. they also showed his garage where he was making his glove and they had other gloves hanging up with different arrangements on them.

                Anyone else remmeber?

yeah, i have been wanting to watch that episode again, the problem with watching that old show is that most of the episodes are really lame, saw one with Brad Pitt, he was terrible in it

Michael Bay producing , Jablonksy music , kid from Terminator show , dude from Watchmen as Freddy all = win.

But some of those rehashed scenes are simply not going to be as creepy as the original. Even today theres a certain level of ickiness and grossness to Freddys nightmare scenes that was lost later in the series and is extremely hard to pull off.

How do you replace Robert Englund ? Creepy or Campy his maneurisms and voice were friggin flawless. Trailer makes me think rorschach is wearing a new mask.

Didnt Bay produce the Texas chainsaw and Halloween remake ?
Both were good...both sequels to those were trash.
Best reason to have a license.
