OOBL's Top 20 Underground Albums of the Decade

Ok... Here it goes... this list will most likely be widely debated, I know for a fact a lot of you will not agree. But as far as I'm concerned, in my opinion, this is my list. I left out so many good albums, but I didn't want to do a top 100 so I had to cut it short. I'm sure I missed a few here and there. But this is where I'm at for now. I'm going to take into consideration any suggestions, and hell maybe edit the list soon. But for now... here we go:

      cool list.

IMO god loves ugly>overcast, but those 2 are my fav albums by him.

Also not having immortal technique is a travesty.

Yeah I was so tempted to put Del on there, but the other albums I think are so good it was really hard to choose 20, I should of done 25 and may actually do so after cycling through a few more albums.

I thought God Loves Ugly was great, but Overcast! was just nuts to me, and Immortal technique was a consideration but I just thought these albums, to me were better, but its just my opinion.

these aren't major label artist, they dont do "mainstream hip pop". Ive seen some of these occasionally at a best buy. Its kinda a diff breed of hip hop, it sounds different usually focusing more on lyrics then the mainstream cat in the hat rhymes. Idk tho, listen to the albums and you'll see.

underground music sounds different. i dont know i think guys like talib are about as close to "commercial" underground rappers as you can get, maybe slug as well. i think lupe also comes to mind now.

guys like mf doom, aesop rock, cannibal ox you will never hear on the radio. partly because there is no catchy chorus and there are some long ass words.

Thats what its all about... hip hop has become a dumbed down version of pimpin and whatnot, these guys are lyrical genius and use the entire dictionary in their rhymes.

I know I know... I LOVE tech n9ne, absolutely do... but as far as production and lyrical value he just doesnt have what these other guys have, hes like the "50 Cent or Lil Wayne" of underground music... hes borderline mainstream at times and his rhymes are full of catchy lines and phrases. Don't get me wrong tho you know dam well I love Tech
