Wow, that's horrible...I also am imagining this as a drug overdose, but this is really sad to hear. He was an amazing drummer.

Actually first heard of them after a track of theirs, "Chapter Four" was on madden 2004. I got into the band a lot back then before they made the mtv transition. That's a real shame.

This is sad. I'm a big fan. Moreso of their pre-City of Evil stuff but even CoE onward I enjoy. One of my favorite bands.

He will be missed. Not only for his drumming but he did a lot of singing from the drum set. A lot of the higher pitched singing and screaming for A7X is done by the Rev. He will be tough to replace.

Sucks alot. I have the A7X logo as a tattoo...the Deathbat. They are my favorite band. Spidey is right, they will never be the same, you just don't replace someone like the Rev. He was one of the top 5 mainstream metal drummers out there today. You can't just replace what he brought to them. It will be interesting to see if they recover from this or just sort of fade away.

At least he's up there rocking with Dime and Cliff now...
