Don't factor in the fact that both of them are both multi platinum artist and Grammy nominated/winning artist. Wayne has some of the best lyrics in the game, list to songs such as "I'm Me" and "Last Of A Dying Breed".

Rap embodies Hip-Hop.

Wayne has the best lyrics in the game? Please retract the statement because I can pull out a million Weezy verses that don't come close to the deserved inhabitants in your list. "I'm going to go the opposite of soft, hector camacho man Randy Savage" Really? Ringtone rap has been relevant this whole decade since the South stuck it's head in the game.
And when I say "South", I'm referring to artists like Soulja Boy or Boosie or any other of those ringtone rappers. It's also not to say that other regions don't have ringtone rappers.Comment

first off... I hate almost everyone of these guys, im a diehard underground head... but i do RESPECT a certain amount of 50 Cents early work, and he should be way higher. I dont like a lot of the bullshit that he or these other guys rap about, but I do appreciate solid lyrics which at times they have come through with.
I do like Kanye from a production standpoint tho, not so much a "rapper", but Id donate a left nut to steeljake if I could sit in on a studio session with Kanye and learn some shit.Comment

Maestro, I gave you thanks for the effort. I don't agree with all of it but don't find it offensive like some others.
Actually nothing, imho, especially given the criteria.
Actually, its the other way around. Hip hop is the culture that embodies rap.

Since he died before the decade even started, it was a poor joke.Comment
