And my point was that they focused on Ohers Mom/Sandra Bullock more than they focused on Oher/The character that played him. It seemed like the movie was more about the character Bullock played over Oher's character. Your analogy to Denzel doesn't really fit. Maybe they just did that to get people in theatres and the actual movie was different, but a lot of the reviews I read mentioned some of the same things i noticed so I never went to see it.

There was a scene where she ran onto the practice field and was yelling "Michael protect his blindside!" For some reason I have a hard time believing that ever happened.

I doubt that. Read the book then. A documentary about a family adopting Oher and then him playing football, boring. It's called a HBO Real Sports segment, not a 90-minute doc.

A Hollywood movie with Sandra Bullock as one of the stars, is making more money and more entertaining.
