The rumors going around is that Nolan has already signed on, but they don't want to announce anything until after Inception. The big rumor is that Nolan is leaning towards recasting the Joker and making the Batman 3 movie he had planned on doing all along.

I'm happpy he has experience working with Joseph Gordon Levitt now after Inception because he's gotta be the guy Nolan goes to to replace Ledger.
