Growing up, I had a favorite movie genre, '1990s Action Films'. It seemed as all of the films were very similar..
1. Fast paced
2. Action-packed
3. Great music
4. Funny scenes
5. Drama/Thriller
The type of movies with no crazy CGI or phenomenal director skills.. just a great plot with nice action
My all-time favorite film:
If you haven't seen this movie and want the epitome of '1990s action films', go watch it now. This movie has it all; a great score, awesome plot, brilliant cast, and some sweet action scenes. Even if you don't like Nic Cage, you will still like this movie. Sean Connery is hilarious as an Alcatraz tour guide per say and Ed Harris is amazing as the villain.
