If I ever made a ''most overrated bands'' list, ''The Doors'' would make it. I'm actually a Doors fan, but talk about overrated as hell. They made some really bad music. If you've never heard the album ''L.A Woman,'' I highly recommend it. One of my favorite albums.

I like Linkin Park, and I also listen to Creed because I used to sing it all the time when I played CoD4 as a joke. I also have no clue how to create rock music.

There's two types of music fans.

There's people who listen to shitty music, because they honestly think the artists are talented. This is the clueless music fan.

Then there's people who listen to shitty music, but can tell the difference between actual good music and bad music.

Because honestly, who isn't guilty of having bad music in their collection? I'm listening to REO Speedwagon right now - are they good? lmao, gtfo. You can either tell the difference or you can't - either way, who cares? It's your life, enjoy it.

Interesting list. My observations on a few of the bands...

Air Supply - Yeah, they sucked but if you were a teenage boy in the 80's and wanted to have a chance at making out with the Betty you were riding around in your Camaro, you needed to have at least 2 cassettes....Air Supply's Greatest Hits and Foreigner 4.

Journey - I despised them as a teenager but grew to like some of their older stuff like Wheel in the Sky as I got older. They do have a ton of talent but Steve Perry made my ass hurt.

Linkin Park - I don't care for them that much but my wife loves them. I can admit to having seen them in concert with Snoop Dogg and Korn a few years ago. Korn's live set was not that bad and, of course, the D...O...Double G was worth the price of admission.

Limp Bizkit - They were cool for about 15 minutes after the premier of that video "Break Stuff". Look at all of the major artists who did cameo's in that shit. They are like the ugly girl that everybody fucked because she filled a need at the time but are too embarrassed to talk about later with their friends. They did have a bad ass set at the Woodstock reunion and then their lack of talent started to shine through...lol

3 Doors Down - I like some of their songs but when you listen to their CD's, it sounds like the same songs over and over and over. I cut them a little slack since they are from Hurley, MS and really contributed big time to helping their coastal neighbors with relief in the days following Katrina.

Too funny about GWAR being mentioned. I have seen them about 10 times in concert over the years. They are the epitome of performance art, basically what KISS should be minus Gene Simmons enormous ego....speaking of KISS....how they hell are they not on this list?

The Buggles.

Trevor Horn thought it would be a good idea to form a band gayer than ''Devo.'' So, he decided to form this pile of donkey spunk, with keyboard player, Geoff Downes. They continue to live off the fact that their ''hit'' video was the first ever to broadcast on MTV. Who cares that it completely fucking sucks, right?

Positives: Well, they look like two guys that would post at VSN, and we can use all the traffic we can get.
