I mean, on one hand, his singing sounded like a water buffalo giving off it's mating call while simultaneously yelping in pain from being lit on fire, while his playing sounds similar to a dull chainsaw going through an anvil, only less musical. I guess we have to file this mystery under "Unsolved" and call Robert Stack, because there's no way to ever measure which is worse, they're both that shitty. Anyway, the only good thing this loser did was die. It's truly a pity he couldn't have done that before entering the music field, thus saving everyone's ears from the torturous sound he produced. ''
Lol, you chose a guy who criticized not only his voice but also his guitar skills to quote. Nice choice?

That highlighted line is about the funniest thing I've ever read.

lol @ Pitty getting pissy because his hero had the singing ability of an 8 year old black boy, who had to have a person backstage to tune his fucking guitar, because he never learned how.

      Moving on.

Yes someone not knowing how to tune a guitar or read music and still being the best guitar player of all time is something to criticize.

I never said his singing was great, just that it was better than Bob Dylan. I bet I could find just about a thousand critics who think Dylan's voice is pretty bad. Not just one random nutcase.

Aaaaannnnnnddddd, we're done. When you stop using this site as a source talk to me.

(also lol at the site and it's 1992 Template, as well as, guess who, Bob Dylan at #3 while Hendrix is #4)

          Fabian.

Johnny Rotten would have you believe that the Sex Pistols were the first ones to pull off the great rock and roll swindle, but that's not true. It was actually Bob Marcucci and Peter DeAngelis. Their plan was to cruise the streets, literally, in search of the most attractive, talentless kid they could find, to cash in on the whole Elvis thing. Insert Fabian Forte - a young, attractive, poor kid, who was in need of some quick cash, to help his ill father. It was actually quite impressive, because back then, it wasn't easy getting by without at least some talent. You can call them dirtbags, if you want, but Fabian doesn't regret a minute of it, and even still tours, always living up to the fact that he didn't have an ounce of talent.

Positives: Fabian had a killer backing band, allowing fans like myself, to pretty much ignore the whole talent thing
          .

I didn't bother looking at the site, or reading anything other than Hendrix.

Videos have been posted, even of Jimi Hendrix.. I think he even goes back stage for a minute to ask his buddy, if his guitar is sounding in tune. Check it out.

Classic deflection when you realize you're siding with a music critic who calls himself "Danimal".

              I expect better.

                Meatloaf.

I can honestly say that I have never actually finished an entire meatloaf song. I usually turn it off around the 12 minute mark, because my ears can't take anymore punishment. If you get by his awful fucking voice, the music itself, is just so bad, words really can't describe it. If Steve Perry gained 200 pounds, lost the little singing ability that he has, I'd expect him to sound like this tub of shit.

                Positives: Absolutely nothing.

You still sore about Jimi Hendrix?

We've moved on, Pitty. When I release my ''most overrated musicians'' of all-time list, we can continue the conversation in more detail. I might even bring ''Danimal'' along, just for some shits and giggles.

Won't be many shits or giggles, well outside of the template of that website, because that is one putrid blog post. It's called "nothing sacred" aka we get attention by making outlandish claims.

If I was sore, I'd give you a healthy dose of Firsttimer groans, I find it amusing that you stick by "Danimal" at this point.

                        Brian Johnson.

The only thing more obnoxious than Jimi Hendrix's out of tune guitar playing, is Brian Johnson's voice. The only real argument AC/DC fans have, and still use today, is ''He was the best replacement they were going to find.'' They released one good album, which was rumored to have been in the works before Scott died. After that we got shit like ''Fly on The Wall,'' ''Flick of the Switch,'' ''Ballbreaker,'' and many many more. It's really not the fault of the Young brothers, since their songwriting and musical style had to fit Johnson's voice.

Positives: The album ''Back in Black''.... But Bon Scott would have done it better.

I thought it was common knowledge that Hendrix only covered so many Dylan songs before he died because Dylan's voice and guitar playing skills were so rudimentary.

Dylan did know how to tune a guitar, though.

I would if it was true. Hendrix could tune a guitar. I let it go on because it was a running gag, but you're mixing it up with the fact that he couldn't read music.

                                Ricky Martin.

Even if Ricky Martin's main priority had been making good music, he didn't have the talent to pull it off. Instead, he spent most of his career trying to throw off the media and fans about his sexuality, by disguising his pro-homosexual love ballads with young, attractive actresses. I mean, it's not like we've ever seen that before, right? (George Michael.) Once people started questioning him, his ''career'' pretty much went on the decline. It's actually quite simple, Ricky - It's only three words, ''I am gay...'' or is it ''estoy gay?''

His lack of talent, voice and courage, is enough to throw him on this list, maybe even higher, that's just how awful he is.. or was... whichever.

Positives: Ricky has made great strides with his sexuality.. He went from avoiding the questions altogether, to being defensive about it, to now hinting at his ''bisexual'' activities/desires. Look, I'm not saying Ricky didn't have sex with women, but as Andrew Dice Clay once said ''You either suck cock or you don't.'' Once Martin can come out of the closet, putting an end to this once and for all, he can go back to making terrible music. Look on the bright side, Ricky, it's 2010 - being gay is ''cool.''
