Watched a streaming movie on the 360 for the first time.

Was surprised at how well it worked. Was expected some sort of lag or what-not, but none whatsoever.
Order The Hangover on HD. Cost me 580 MS points. I think that works out to less than what an HD movie would cost on my satellite system (or about the same).

    Just checked out the difference.
My satellite system rents HD movies for $6.99, Xbox Live after conversion costs $7.25.

Guess I'll avoid that in the future ... because I can PVR ppvs off my satellite system and watch them again.

I just have a Netflix account, and a PS3 streaming disc. It's not 1080p, at least nothing I've watched (mainly just TV shows) but for 9.99 a month and unlimited, it's pretty fucking FTW.

I get Netflix and I definitely use my money's worth in regards to the online streaming.

Lots of HD streams...big time selection (although, the lack of new titles lacks, but no biggie to me, as I watch a lot of older or off-shoot stuff via the streams).

I rarely get a chance in stream quality from HD.

Yeah, people fail to realize that the instant queue is more for the obscure or older stuff. Is it that hard to order a DVD or two Champ?

Even though it's very hypocritical for me to say, since I torrent, I would rather spend the $7 than the multiple of that in fines I'd receive for breaking the law.
