I never hear anyone talk about them here so I don't know if there are any other Gorillaz fans.

Gorillaz are one of the few artist I anticipate a CD from, listened to their newest CD a few times now. It's hard to like all of their songs because they're all over the place and sound nothing alike but here are my favorites.


I like all of their videos but this is my new favorite one. Bruce Willis at 2:30 :tee:

Yeah, doesn't have any songs that could be "popular" like Clint Eastwood, Feel Good, Dare etc. but it's still good.

I think they made a bunch of good songs this time around, yet I agree, there's not that one big song like clint or fell good.

Never been a fan of the Gorillaz but I listened to the new album anyway. Only song I really liked was Superfast Jellyfish on first listen. I think it might grow on me though so I'll be sure to peep it a couple more times.

I agree it is their worst and it did sound half-assed but fortunately it still has some good songs.

Some shit is just weird though, like "sweepstakes" it sounds like a bunch of random noises thrown together.

I still think he needs to find one solid sound and stick with it. My favorite songs from all of the CD's are the ones with Damon Albarn, of course Clint Eastwood and Dare was good but generally when he starts bringing other people in I don't like the song.

Yeah after quickly going through them, my favorite songs on Plastic Beach are the ones with just Damon being simple, not with all the complicated stuff in the background.

Even as a Gorillaz fan, Albarn should ditch this shit and get Blur cranking again full time instead of that half arsed Festival/Hyde Park tour we saw last year. He needs to get over himself and accept he got destroyed by Oasis 15 years again and stick to what he did best - working with Graham Coxon.

Or at least do another Good, the Bad and the Queen CD, which IMO is his best post-Blur work.

Been listening to Demon Days and Plastic Beach alot lately. Empire Ants is my favorite on Plastic Beach and probably my favorite by Gorillaz.

Plastic Beach had too much random rapping on it, the only good rapping Gorillaz has ever has was from Deltron, need to get him back. Every song when Damon was by himself on Plastic Beach I like.
When he seems to be serious I literally like all of his songs, but for some reason he doesn't seem to care all the time. Gorillaz(CD) and Plastic Beach or litered with some really random shit. I'd like the group 10x more if that was cut out.
