Neither was close to best picture of the year. The best nominated films were Up In The Air, Inglorious Basterds.

Biopics are guaranteed to get good ratings, unfortunately.

Inglorious Basterds should win Best Picture.

I'm glad Christoph Waltz won a well deserved Oscar.

Season 1: 11-5 (Super Bowl Champion)
Season 2: 12-4 (NFC West Champion)

I did want Waltz to win, but if Woody Harrelson won I wouldn't have been mad.

And I really really want the Hurt Locker to win best picture, but if Up in the Air or Inglourious Basterds wins, I won't be as upset as Avatar.

This means they're going to fuck up the Best Director/Picture race.

The Hurt Locker was an amazing movie, in my opinion. I've watched it three times and every scene still captures my attention.

The only scene I actually didn't like was when the soldiers were drinking in the barracks and started punching each other in the gut. I thought that was kind of lame. Other than that, I can't think of a single scene that wasn't filmed and performed near perfectly.
