What are your thoughts on Tom Morello? I don't know shit about guitar, but he is probably my favorite guitarist. His solos sound unique to me and I am a big fan of Rage Against The Machine and some Audioslave.

I'm a Morello fan, I just don't like the bands he's played for - his style is unique, which is why I like him.. Plus he's a big Clash fan, and that's always a plus.Comment

Excellent list, much better than the predictable crap the guitar or music magazines trot out every year. The odd eyebrow-raiser but great in general.
I see, like me, you prefer the twang to the smooth, processed sound. Can't fault it.Z(u, w) = Z0(w)[1-exp{-b(w)u}]

#20.
Hollywood Fats/Michael Mann.
Fats started playing the guitar when he was 10 years old. Started jamming with blues musicians in his teens. He toured with guys like John Lee Hooker and Albert King, but never did reach his full potential, due to his death in 1986 - shortly after this performance. Unfortunately, Fats enjoyed one thing more than playing the guitar - heroin.
Great rockabilly guitarist, and a pretty damn good blues player, too.

#8.
Jimi Hendrix.
Jimi invented rock and roll........ oh wait.
YouTube- Chuck Berry - Reelin and Rockin
List is complete. Again, these are my personal favorites.. Other than numbers 1 & 2, I don't have any opinion on who the ''greatest of all-time'' is. If I had to make a list like that, guys like Santana and Hendrix would certainly make the list over most of the guys I placed in the bottom half of the top 20. They were certainly two of the best, just not my personal favorites. But I'm not ashamed to say that guys like Burton, Atkins, Eddy, SRV, would still get higher spots than both Hendrix and Santana.
No trannies, I promise:

I've always thought Prince was one of the more underrated guitar players going, and he did have a spot on my list, but he emailed me around numbers 16 and 17, telling me if his name or symbol goes on this list, he'll sue. Well, I can't afford that right now.Comment
