Yknow, they wouldn't have to reboot the damned X-Men franchise if they hadn't fucked up the third one so bad. The first was good, the second was borderline great; the third was just a completely different type of movie. Bryan Singer left for that Superman Returns flick and took his writing and editing staff with him. Brett Ratner's not a terrible director or anything, but he's not the type of guy who should be messing-around with the X-Men series.
The X-Men prequel is going to be fucking badass with Matthew Vaughn at the helm.
