Tapped out at 56. I'm not a big Weezy fan, so I have to ask those of you who really know his shit - what were some of his best mixtapes when he was new? I need to hear some of that older shit to wash the sound of this crap out of my ears.

I think you meant to post that in the "funny pics & random video" thread.

Tha Carter I, Tha Carter II, Da Drought 3, Dedication 2. That's all you really need from him.

Gracias. Now I just need to figure out why I'm so damned disappointed.

Definitely listen to Da Drought 3, IMO that was Wayne at his peak.

He made a brief comeback with No Ceilings but that was quickly over and he went back to sucking.

Me and my friends have been watching each of the past Entourage seasons and are currently at part 2 of season 3. I am definitely hooked on it. Awesome show

Wow I just watched like 30 seconds of that awful Lil Wayne shit. I had to turn it off at this line:

"Ballin with my bloods, call it b-ball"....

Fucking really? Wayne is such fucking garbage. The only dickriders he has left are either living in New Orleans or attending middle school.

As for that Pilot Talk, I still haven't heard it. Any standout tracks I should peep real quick? Unless someone has a d/l link they want to PM me, LOL.

That's exactly when I turned it off, lol. I always hold out hope for Wayne to recapture some magic from TC2 or DD3, but I always get disappointed obviously.

My favorites are Example, King Kong, Breakfast, Roasted, The Day, Prioritize (Beeper Bill) and Address. The production on the album is fucking bananas.

My friend said the production was like a mix between Reasonable Doubt and Illmatic, which is obviously some high praise. Thanks for those tracks, I will check out.

Listening to Example now, beat kind of reminds me of Joe Budden's 40 Licks

TBH I don't think that shit that was released from Wayne is gunna be what the EP is like. No way.

Never heard of Pilot Talk until now since I don't keep up with any new rap.

I quickly scanned through a few songs on youtube, definitely gonna download it now.

Listening to Kid Cudi while ripping CDs. They're my uncle's:

                              Pat Benatar - Best Shots
Method Man and Redman - Blackout! 10-year Anniversary Collector's Adition (BO! and BO! 2)
Burning Spear - Chant Down Babylon (two-disc)
Bob Marley - Legend (posthumous compilation album)
Bob Marley - Chant Down Babylon (posthumous remix album from 1999)

Here's the end to one of my favorite 3Stacks songs. Not even listening to this song right now, but somehow the outro popped into my head:

And that's as far as I got, and where I wanted to go
knowing the whole time that's all you could think about
even though if you cut it off and start that bitch up
you need a jump like you'll need in your rump to grow
and you change all the time so that rabbit that you thought about
that whole summer, the next summer you didn't want that rabbit no more
you wanted something bigger and better

So the summer past and the rabbit is old?

Right, right, so now you want a Cadillac...
