I kept hearing Bode was not going to die and then he got shot and I was like wtf. Then they showed next weeks preview and it got cleared up.

Doug E. Doug (Cool Runnings) was the church guy as well, awesome.

Loved the first episode, the rest of the season looks good as well.

Yea Cooper was a goofball hes also in The Pacific. I was surprised in this show when out of no where he pulls out a gun and says kill him or wound him like a badass.

Nothing really happened? Witness protection shoot outs aren't nothing. The last episode of the season was awesome too. Southland is a great show.

I meant continuing storylines from show to show. The episodes I watched from season one all seemed to be self contained. Like Law&Order, not my cup of tea.

I just started watching this the other day from my dvr. I just finished episode four. Awesome show.

if you like it after the first 4 episodes you will love the finish because its one long story arc instead of a case to case thing.

Yeah episodes like 2-5 are kinda slow because they're just random story lines then it picks back up. Those episodes are still good they just don't add to the main plot.

I think I just finished episode 6 before leaving for work. It's the one that ends with him talking to Walton Goggins character at the jail and he tells him he has something that could put his dad away for life. I'm guessing his dad killed his mom?

No need to ruin it for me though.

I'm kind of hoping he hooks back up with his ex-wife because she is hotter than Eva in my opinion. A little skinny but serious DSL's.

Finished it up tonight and the finale was awesome. That scene where the sniper peaks his head in the window where Raylan is hiding under...amazing.
