According to that Kevin dude the milena/kitana episode was a 50/50 split. The people that hated it really hated it.

im really disappoined by it veering off into the mystical.

Mortal Kombat the video games had plenty of that story. and nobody gave a shit about that story. people played Mortal Kombat because it was a cool fighting game, and because at the time, something like playing a video game where you got to rip someones head off with the spine still dangling was a) unheard of b) especially unheard of in a public arcade c) what the fuck is an arcade? god i'm old d) it really pissed your parents off.

i mean, i remember as a kid i made my decision between a sega genesis and a super nintendo based on the fact that mortal kombat on genesis had blood.

a gritty, reality based show is what we were looking for. that initial trailer had alot of people going "wait, thats mortal kombat? that looks sweet". LOL at that fucking fanboi. So what if it was renamed. call it whatever you want, but one thing was teased and we got another, so i'll call it bullshit. it's like starting a computer repair shop and calling it Diivox Enterprises, advertising it as a computer repair shop, quietly renaming it to Diivox Incorporated, then when I finally open the doors, I just hand out jehovas witness pamphlets in a room full of computers.

Just got around to watching that.

I'm pretty turned off by the whole series now. The character development for those two was pretty bleh with predictable lines. The 4min episodes are just way to short.

Unless the cyrax and sektor episodes really do justice I'm sure I probably won't bother to watch anything they might produce in "season 2"

BTW they arn't showing those episodes till late july at comic-con which is another load of bullshit.

I don't think I've been more raged at a movie/web series whatever since they did a turtles 3 back in the day and sent them back into time. That was just shit.

Not bad CGI for a short film. This Movie is going to be Gold if they can continue the character development and a half way decent plot on the big screen.

Can't wait for the studio's to wake up and green light this!

I thought there was going to be a number 10 but I really suspect that thanks to this video being more then 4mins long they just combined both of them.

Honestly the character development was fairly boring. Sub zero/scorpion was meh, kitana and mileena as a two parter was terrible. Raidens was done fairly well and I will admit I liked this last episode but mainly because cyrax is my fav thanks to using him almost all the time in MK3.
