Entourage - Season 7

I'm a huge Entourage fan. Huge. Been watching since season 1 aired originally on HBO. My college roommate owned all of the seasons and we watched them non-stop every day.

But it's far from the best show on TV. It's not even the best show on HBO.

I personally thought the premiere episode was pretty standard fare for Entourage. Nothing happened, and all of the same jokes we've come to know were re-used. (For example, Drama's pathetic attempt to comfort Vince about doing his own stunt by drawing on his own experience doing an irrelevant or obscure TV show, "I fell down the stairs on "My So Called Life" once bro", immediately followed by Turtle wisecracking on how old Drama is...We've only seen that exchange happen roughly 39 times before)

totally agree. i watch ever show and i loved it when it first came out. But now its the same old same old and they really have no direction to keep it fresh

u didnt like tonights show? i just got done watching and i thought it was great. it had some funny moments, but the story and direction the show is taking was great. I was very entertained by this episode.

it doesnt feel funny at all. some laughs in this last show, but maybe 1 or 2. I liked the story in this one though.

There is no more comedy. I feel like we're preparing for another downfall of Vince. He's going to become a trainwreck. They seem to play off the "DAYUMMMM I WISH I WAS RICH ENOUGH TO DO THAT" aspect more than anything else this season. No romance, no homo. Where the fuck is Sloan? Jamie Lynn? Did Turtle drop out of school? Etc.

I was excited for this season because I wanted to see the E/Sloan relationship back in full force. I don't give a shit that Vinnie wants to jump out of a plane. I think the only things memorable from the last 2 episodes that can develop into a story are Drama's scripts and Ari's football team. I fucking hate Drama.

Vince got a haircut and went sky diving
Turtle got a gift certificate because Tiffany's over-charged him
Drama still doesn't have a job
Jerry Jones offered Ari Gold an NFL franchise (since that would happen like that)

This used to be my favorite show. Now it's a snoozefest. I only watch it out of habit. It gets more and more disappointing as the episodes go by. Same shit different episode.
