people who dont use facebook will have no interest in seeing this movie. People who do use it will see it because its like seeing their favorite band in concert or somethingComment

I'm not saying they weren't happy or that I wouldn't be happy with that amount. But now knowing how much facebook is actually worth, it HAS to eat them up that they had a similar idea and they could be billionaires now.Comment

the only reason its a story worth telling is because they know at least half of those 500 million friends will go see it. So they know they can make money off of it.

Strong film.
Not exactly "...the Network of our generation..." but definitely a piece of incredible film that has a significant social impact. It really hit on a lot of things. I mean, its crazy that facebook has been an institution in our society and culture for a little over SIX YEARS now...mypsace and a few other social network sites even longer. Hell, I remember hearing about facebook within the first week or so I enrolled at UM...I was one of the first like 70 people to sign up for facebook on the UM network (facebook had been around for not even a year yet)...I can't believe how it has evolved into what it is (was better when it was just for college kids, but whatever)...but its definitely an institution in our society.Comment

Yeah Larry, I was just telling my moms how I signed up early 2003, and only people in college could join...now, anyone can join, never would have thought it would have grew this big.Originally posted by Nick MangoldWes Welker is a great player. He's really taken advantage of watching film. If we don't keep a Spy on him, he could really open the Gate.Comment

really good story and told even better. i dont use facebook so i was more interested in what the story was about. i thought it was very interesting and and it kept me entertained and glued to my screen throughout.
for anyone who could not give a shit about facebook, u shoudl still watch this film because its a great story regardless of being a fan of the site. Its like the howard stern movie private parts. people wouldnt see it cause they were not a fan of his. But its an excellent story even if u hate the guyComment
