I thought the soundtrack to the film (done by Trent Reznor and one of his buddies) was incredible so I found a d/l link to the soundtrack album if anyone else is interested. Definitely worth a listen.

Would you care to share what really happened? I think the story is interesting so I would like to know what actually happened.Comment

Its not entirely bullshit. Some points are inferred, some are totally falsified, the film does make Zuckerburger appear like an asshole...whether he is or isn't, who the fuck knows.
The general gist of the story IMO is that there are smart fuckers who can build such a thing out of ideas and the entire world relies on it.

I liked this movie a lot and it would definitely be somewhere in my top 3 of this year, but I'm thinking the reason it won last night (and will win again in Feb.) is because award committees like to feel important. It's not a better movie than 127 Hours*, but it is really well done, and the "generation defining" label will push it over the top. The timely subject matter gives the award committee license to put their own tiny stamp on history.
*- Still have to see Black Swan, but 127 Hours is in my top spot for now.Comment
