You can tell Jenji Kohan really is already preparing for a Season 8 even though it hasn't officially been picked up yet. Also judging by her comments of "digging in the past" for the shooter, it has me coming to believe after watching the final scene where it shows the blurred shot of the shooter that it could possibly be Tim, the DEA Agent Peter's (Season 2) son. I'm just going off looks and that would be my best guess.

Also, I thought this originally when I watched the ep the very first time, but I have a feeling that someone else ended up shooting the shooter. Obviously Nancy can't be dead, but after watching the ep again, there's also a silencer on the end of the rifle so that bang couldn't have came from the gun.

Then again, I'm probably looking into this all too much. I do hope Showtime picks this show up for one last season though...even if it's a lame 8 episode season ala Entourage.

That could very well be it...he'd be about Shane's age then, right? 19ish?

Definitely need to see a season 8 or at the very least a 2 hour episode to wrap things up. All we needed from that ending was the Journey soundtrack.

We were never told this and when Shane was going to the family dinner type thing he seemed like he was sort of nervous/hesitant. I know it is 2 months later but I figured it was the same cop. I know it probably doesn't make the most sense though in the grand scheme of things. I just want to know what it is Shane offered that guy. That's irking me right now.

I'm invested now. For whatever reason if I watch the first season of something I'm all in. Doesn't mean I can't be critical of gimmicky screen writing techniques.

um, Shane becoming a Cop is what he gave, he said he knew what he wanted, and it was to become a cop instead of a crook.

he was hesitant because he didn't want his family to know what he was doing which is why he lied.

I looked it up the other day and couldn't find that they got a new season, the link posted here says it hasn't been officially picked up, and Jenji has said she is fine ending it this way but has ways to continue it.
