probably a bad sign for the show that the thread isnt even on the front page of a forum that is slowing down quite a bit. i have no idea where the plot is heading anymore. Shane is entertaining as hell and I think it's an even worse sign that i was sad to see the Mexicans go, because they were actually pretty entertaining this season. mary louise parker getting naked again was probably the only good thing about the last 2 episodes. i watch Weeds now because... i watch weeds. ive got 5 and a half seasons invested in it. i have to see where it goes. but it seems like they've lost all semblance of a coherent story arcComment

setting up for another cliffhanger... episode 10 in the bank and i feel like the whole season could have been done in one episode. ending had me hooked a bit, so did the end of e4, but beyond that... ive seen weeds pull this shit before, and i didnt mind it because i was watching the whole show at once. now im just annoyed knowing that theres no way they are gonna wrap up the storyline. i almost wish showtime would cancel it now so that the writers will make a definitive ending. but it just doesnt feel like its going that wayComment

I don't know, I think this season has been pretty good. Not as funny as S1 and S2, but close now that Doug is back in the fold regularly. Still miss Conrad though.
Plot wise, it's still meandering too much for me but the bizarre circumstances and side characters that keep popping up are keeping this afloat for me, for now.
The reveal at the end about was a step in the right direction. Interested to see what happens with that guy.

I think the point is just to have them in a different absurd setting or situation each episode. I didn't like it at first but I've kind of liked laughing at one or two random guest spots each week.
The little meth head at the trailer park, for instance, made me laugh my fucking ass off.
It's hit or miss with this format, but when it hits, the bizarre sense of humor that Kenji Johan (or is it Jenji Kohan?) has is at its best. One minor quibble, is I don't think MLP has done as good of an acting job this season. She's usually jaw-dropping but she seems to be mailing it in right now. Possibly because other characters are being asked to carry more of the water. Shane has really emerged as a solid character.Comment

wow, fuck you Weeds. another cliffhanger. I dont know what I expected, I mean every season has been like that, but I was really hoping for a respectable death to the show. instead I finished e12 and then I googled and saw season 7 was confirmed. an entire season of bullshit with the last 5 minutes being edge-of-your-seat. maybe other seasons were like this, but I didnt watch the show until before this one. whatever the case may be, I'll still be watching in '11 when it comes back.
