Asher Roth - Greenhouse Effect and Seared Foie Gras With Quince and Cranberry were good mix-tapes. Asleep in the Bread Aisle was a disappointment, save a few songs, but The Spaghetti Tree (I know, what the fuck at the name) looks decent to start.

Sam Adams - Definitely won't get a lot of love here because of his subject matter. Boston's Boy is a fun listen and he's coming out with another mixtape later this year. His remix of I Love College by Roth got him on the scene.

Mac Miller - Recent high school graduate from the 'Burgh. The High Life is a decent mixtape and he's releasing another (K.I.D.S.) on the 13th this month. Member of Taylor Gang with Wiz Khalifa.

There really aren't any truly good mainstream white rappers. Brother Ali and such are probably at the top of the list. I have a soft spot for Matisyahu and Everlast even though they're pretty hit or miss.
