Kickass = AWESOME!

I just caught this on Blu Ray today. This movie is incredible well made and the characters are amazing! The story was very refreshing and this movie incredibly surprised me.

I am glad they didn't make this shit PG-13. Did you guys see this yet? I hope if you haven't you rent the movie, the movie is flat out awesome.

Exactly right? When I first saw the previews I was like oh another chris mintz movie, then they added nic cage to the trailers and I was like oh pass, this guy's terrible since Raising Arizona.

But no one played their usual role type. Mintz was outstanding, Cage was back to being an actor and even Mark Strong played a convincing mob guy.

My favorite movie to come out this year. The scene where Hit Girl saves Kickass and Big Daddy is fucking awesome.

I liked it, but by the end, I really started to hate Kick-Ass. The rest of the characters were really interesting, but damn, Kick-Ass just got whiny and silly. A jet pack... really?

I loved this movie but I just watched it with my roommates and they hated it. I gave them their two weeks notice to find a new place to live.

One thing I REALLY liked that a lot of people didn't was the transition from it being slow to being fast-paced.

Like, I felt like it was intentional where some people felt it was forced. I liked how at first it seems akin to Spider-Man, if a tad more violent and with more cursing, but then Kick Girl comes in and Kick Ass (along with the audience) is made aware of the fact that this isn't a game, it's serious shit.

Great movie in my mind. I'm gonna download it now and buy it when I get a chance. Fucking awesome.

The first person knife/handgun combo scene was fucking awesome. I went my pants during it. Not even kidding. The hallway scene with Hit Girl at the end is pretty legit, too.
