I really disliked the main character, just too cliched for the high school loser character, especially the dialogue. Other than that I really enjoyed the movie.

The first person knife/handgun combo scene was fucking awesome. I went my pants during it. Not even kidding. The hallway scene with Hit Girl at the end is pretty legit, too.

I know it's gay for me to say this: But the commercial with her kicking ass with Bad Reputation playing in the background was a big part of me seeing it. That's such an amazing song and a wonderful scene.

At the end of the movie, I didn't want to leave. Me, my little brother, my uncle, and my cousin were just sitting there like "Wow." I was like "The movie really was kick ass."

The title of the movie wasn't about the character, it was about the story. It was basically an ensemble cast that Kick Ass happened to to narrate. He was the J.D. to the movie's Scrubs.

The movie was kick ass, the characters were kick ass, Kick Ass was only sort of kick ass. lol. He was part of Kick Ass. The movie revolves around his life and experiences, but not necessarily him.
