Iron Maiden - The Final Frontier

Almost shocked but not surprise there was no post about this on here.

CD is out tomorrow (august 16).

Of course its already hit the net and I'm giving it a listen right now.

I'm fairly disappointed that I didn't goto see them with Dream Theater a few months back.

I literally had no money for it though but oh well.

I'm liking it so far as well.

I just got hooked on Children of the Damned. I love that song.

should be listening this weekend, El Dorado is decent, basically I figure it will be Brave New World Pt 4 since I honestly feel the last 3 albums are about the same, but still great shit.

Saw them with DT at Cuyahoga Falls again back in July, fucking kick ass as usual.

It really reminds me of the last album, but more technical if that makes any sense.

Under normal circumstances I would have bought both the CD and the vinyl yesterday. Unfortunately I'm in the middle of the mother of all cash-flow crises at the moment so all music buying is off the table - apart from a copy of Charles Mingus at Antibes that I bought from a funky little Jazz store last week, the place was so good and the bloke was so nice that I felt bad not buying anything.

But back to Maiden; I wasn't overly impressed with Eldorado or the title track when they put them on the website recently so I'm not in any mad rush to buy yet. Then again I wasn't initially impressed with the last album but that grew on me very quickly. Seeing the songs live and in context often helps.

Hopefully I should have them both by the middle of next month.
