Well it was a rarity in a horror decade dominated by stupid teen slashers. The Ring was one of the few horror movies "of my day" I could bare to watch.

Cabin Fever was a decent psychological horror film. Bets part is when that guy thinks he's survived the disease and then they shoot him thinking he has it.
