I haven't seen The American truthfully and would probably do so based on Clooney's recent track record but...

Machete is coming out.

Clooney's got the ducats to survive another flop, perhaps do another romantic comedy to curb losses if need be.

Danny Trejo and Co. need this to be a hit.

Let's get this over with: 'Piranha 3D' is softcore exploitation.

Gratuitous in every sense of the word.

While most horror movies attempt to draw sympathy for its victims, Piranha revels in sadistic glee as thousands of teens are torn apart with unparalleled ferocity, turning crystal waters blood red for the adulation of the audience.

Maybe you queers only enjoy going to movies that make you cry, but once in a while, I like having a few drinks, smoking some drugs, and going to the movies just to watch people get slaughtered by fish and nice big boobies on a big screen.

This movie is just awesomely bad, it reminds me a little of "Drag Me to Hell" - a movie that makes fun of its own genre by being over-the-top and corny. It just ends up being really enjoyable, I see it being a cult classic film.
